KC WIGWAM 440 Nordic Spruce Glamping Pod
A Cabin Guests Remember Before They Even Step Inside
Some glamping spaces are practical.
The KC WIGWAM 440 has personality.
Its distinctive steep-sided profile creates a cabin that feels somewhere between a Nordic hideaway, an A-frame retreat and a traditional timber lodge. Inside, the rectangular 3.0 × 4.4m footprint makes surprisingly efficient use of the space, giving you approximately 13.2m² to create a comfortable guest retreat without the awkward floor shape the exterior might suggest.
For glamping sites and hospitality projects, it creates a memorable place to stay. In a private garden, it can become a guest room, creative retreat, reading space or quiet escape from the main house.
The architecture gives you the character.
The way you use the interior remains yours to shape.
Designed Around the Stay
Arrive Somewhere Different
The steep roofline and projecting front canopy give the WIGWAM its unmistakable appearance.
A glazed entrance brings natural light into the cabin, while the covered threshold creates a sheltered transition between the surrounding landscape and the interior.
At the opposite end, a distinctive 900mm circular rear window brings in further daylight and creates a natural focal point for the room.
Sleep, Relax or Create
The approximately 13.2m² footprint gives you enough space to create considerably more than a simple sleeping pod.
The WIGWAM can be configured around:
- Guest accommodation
- Couple or family stays
- A private garden retreat
- Reading or hobby space
- Rural hospitality
- Farm diversification
- Holiday-park accommodation
- A creative studio or quiet workspace
Choose an open interior for complete flexibility, or add furniture and sleeping options to create a more complete guest-ready environment.
A Strong Nordic Interior
The structure is formed from 28mm Nordic Spruce, giving the cabin a warm timber interior and the natural grain and variation expected from Scandinavian softwood.
Its steep upper profile gives the room much of its visual character, while the conventional rectangular floor keeps the usable space practical.
Why Choose the KC WIGWAM?

Base, Access & Site Preparation
A well-prepared foundation is essential to the long-term performance of your WIGWAM.
The cabin requires a firm, level, load-bearing and well-drained base.
Depending on the site and final technical drawing, suitable options may include:
- Concrete slab
- Reinforced paving
- Ground-screw foundation
- Engineered timber or steel platform
- Suitable existing level hardstanding
Before permanent works begin, the final drawing should be used to confirm the exact foundation dimensions, structural bearing positions, entrance approach, drainage, service routes and maintenance clearances.
Access should also be considered before delivery, including gates, turns, gradients, unloading space and the route between the delivery vehicle and the final position.
If you are unsure which base or delivery route will suit your property, send us photographs of the proposed location and access and we can help you establish the next step.
Glamping, Guest Use & Planning
The KC WIGWAM is particularly well suited to glamping, hospitality and guest-accommodation settings.
If you are planning to use the cabin for paying guests, the wider project may also need to consider:
- Planning permission or change of use
- Site licensing where applicable
- Fire detection and safe escape
- Heating and ventilation
- Electrical provision
- Washing and toilet facilities
- Guest access
- Cleaning and ongoing operation
Requirements vary according to the property, local authority and intended use.
For commercial projects, we recommend establishing the planning and operational pathway before committing to permanent site works. Our team can help you define the physical cabin, base, access and installation scope alongside the wider project.
Lead Time, Delivery & Installation
The KC WIGWAM 440 is manufactured to order, with a current indicative production lead time of approximately 8–10 weeks.
Your final programme will depend on the confirmed specification, manufacturing schedule, access, foundation readiness and chosen installation route.
The cabin is normally supplied as a large component kit for assembly on the prepared base.
If you already have an experienced construction team, you can choose a delivery-only route.
For a more complete pathway, professional KeiCo installation can be selected where available, allowing us to coordinate the cabin build alongside the agreed base, treatment and wider project requirements.
Permanent foundations and site trades should not be booked until the final technical drawing and delivery or installation plan have been confirmed.
